Benefits to Parents
Accommodating Working Schedules: Full-time working parents can drop their students off and pick them up during convenient periods at the start and end of each day. The longer school day allows time for full-time work schedules plus commuting time.
Dedicated Family Time: Individualized drop-off and pick-up times are negotiated between parents and teachers, which allows for the School to tailor the school schedule to individual student and family needs and preferences. Additionally, the students do not receive routine homework, giving the family more time to spend as they wish.
Unique Annual Calendar: An extended year calendar minimizes the student learning regression that frequently occurs during a long summer break. The calendar also maximizes the time that families spend together during important seasonal breaks, religious holidays and cultural celebrations. The School is out of session for approximately 45 days during the Summer, which preserves a family break without forcing parents to pay for day camps or other costly summer alternatives.
